“Main View” is used to view live feed, “Remote playback” is to view past footage 
The 4 squares in the upper left corner bring you to the menu, where you can select Main View or Remote Playback.
Live Feed:
- Clicking the play button next to store name will bring up their cameras layout(circled in Pink). Cameras you are currently viewing will have a green dot next to them. If you want to change the viewing layout, you can use the Window Division button in the lower right corner(circled in green).
Remote Playback:
- Similarly to the live feed, you will have to click the play button to bring up the footage.
- To skip to a specific date, there is a calendar available in the upper left corner. Dates with a blue corner signify there is footage to playback for that date. A red dot signifies the date you are currently viewing. A timeline will appear at the bottom of the screen, allowing you to click and drag to a specific time. If you hover your mouse over the timeline and scroll up or down, you will zoom in/out of the timeline, showing you more or less specific times.
- To export footage, you must first notate which cameras and the start and stop time you’d like to capture. Click the downward arrow button to open the export pane
- Here, you’ll check the box for which camera you want to download and the start and stop times. Once you’ve added the dates and time you want to download, click “Download” at the bottom. The screen will show you a progress bar, and NVMS will show a small notification hat the download has been completed.
- By default, these files will save to C:\Users\Public\NVMS V3 Site\UserData\Video
